Learn how to connect a supported payment gateway (Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, or Stripe) to activate subscriptions on your store.

Step 1: Click on this arrow to get further settings

Step 4 Click "Complete setup" under Shopify Payments to connect your gateway. Once connected, the "Not Connected" banner clears.
Note: Test gateways can't process real recurring charges — use Shopify Payments for subscriptions.
If migrating from another platform, connect your gateway before migrating:

• Card subscribers import through Shopify Payments.
• PayPal subscribers import as billing agreements, which only work through the same PayPal account the customer used before. Connect that account as PayPal Express first, and get it approved by PayPal.

Note: PayPal billing agreements aren't covered by Shopify's paid migration service — import them separately via API.

Step5: Choose options according to your store and than click next

Step 6: Fullfil the details and click on next

After Filling every details click on "Submit for verification"

After completing these steps, the payment gateway issue should be resolved.
