How to Set Up the "Celebrate a Birthday" Earning Rule in Point Programm.

Learn how to configure and manage your customer points program to drive engagement and repeat purchases in your store by celebrating customers birthday.

Step 1: Access and Configure Your Points Program

• Click Programs in the left sidebar menu, locate Points Program, and click Set up to start customizing how customers earn and redeem points.

Step 2: Add Ways to Earn

• Under Earn points, click + Add ways to earn to set up actions—like making a purchase or signing up—that let customers collect points.

Step 3: Choose an Earning Option

• Place an order: Earn points on every purchase.
• Celebrate a birthday: One-time yearly birthday bonus.
• Signup: Welcome points on account creation.

Step 4: Configure "celebrate a Birthday" Rule

After clicking on point programm of your choice, As here I clicked on the Celebrate a birthday.

Step 5: Configure the "Birthday Bash" Earning Rule

1. Title: Enter the name of the reward action in the Title field (such as "Birthday Bash").
2. Description: Add program details or guidelines in the Description field (such as "One-time yearly birthday bonus").
3. Earning value: Specify how many reward points customers receive on their birthday under Points awarded.

Step 6: Configure Customer Eligibility, Status, and Icon

1. Customer eligibility: Toggle on to limit points based on customer groups, choosing whether to Include customers in this group or Exclude customers in this group (such as the Bronze tier).
2. Status: Set the rule status to Active or Disabled to control whether the birthday reward is live for customers.

Step 7: Save and Create the Rule

• Summary review: Check the Summary panel on the right side to verify all your configured settings, rules, and conditions for the birthday reward.
• Create rule: Click the Create button in the top right corner to save and launch your new earning rule.

Step 8: View Active Rules

• Manage existing rules: View your successfully created Celebrate a birthday rule listed under Ways to earn, where you can click Edit to modify it anytime.

That is a preview of the customer widget where users can view their available points and click options like Earn points to complete actions.
