How to Set Up a Shipping Template in TikTok Shop

Overview

Before TikTok Connector by SPL can sync your products to TikTok Shop, you need to set up your warehouse, pickup/return locations, and shipping template in the TikTok Shop Seller Center. These steps are required whether you choose Shipped by Seller or Shipped by Platform.

Step 1: Set Up Your Warehouse & Return Location

Go to My Account > Account Settings > Warehouse Settings in TikTok Shop Seller Center.
Add your warehouse pickup address (where orders will be shipped from).

Drop shipping? Use your 3PL provider's address.

Add a return address (where returns will be sent).
TikTok Shop will automatically generate warehouse codes for both locations.

Step 2: Create a Shipping Template

In TikTok Shop Seller Center, go to Shipping > Shipping Template.
Click Add New Template (you can only have one).
Fill in the details:

Template Name: Choose a name.
Shipping From & To: Auto-filled with your warehouse details.
Excluded Areas: Select areas where you don’t deliver.
Delivery Areas & Rates: Set shipping fees for different regions (must cover 0-30 kg).
New Region: Group areas into regions with custom rules.
Unassigned Areas: Make sure all areas are assigned to a region.

Click Submit to save.

Important: Your weight limit must be up to 30 kg, or you won’t be able to save the template.
