📦 Understanding the Orders Tab in Shortly


The Orders tab inside the Shortly app allows you to track all affiliate-attributed sales, including their referral sources, commission statuses, and financial metrics.



📊 Orders Summary


At the top of the page, you'll find key performance metrics:


  • Total Orders – Total number of affiliate-attributed orders.
  • Total Revenue – Cumulative revenue generated from those orders.
  • Average Order Revenue – Average revenue per order.


These values give you a quick overview of how your affiliate program is performing.



📋 Orders Table Columns


Each row in the table represents a unique order that was referred through an affiliate link.


Column

Description

Order No.

Clickable order ID that links to the order in Shopify

Date

Timestamp of when the order was placed

Referral

The affiliate referral link used to generate the order

Total

The total order value in USD

Status

Shows whether the order is ACTIVE or PARTIALLY REFUNDED

Action

Allows you to Cancel Commission if needed


🔁 Order Statuses


  • ACTIVE – The order is valid and the commission is eligible for payout.
  • PARTIALLY REFUNDED – A portion of the order was refunded, which may impact commission amounts.


❌ Cancel Commission


The Cancel Commission button lets you revoke affiliate commission on a specific order. This is useful if:


  • The customer canceled the order
  • A full refund was issued
  • You suspect fraudulent behavior


Once clicked, the commission for that order will be voided and excluded from payouts.



🔄 Filter Views


Use the tab filter options at the top of the order table:


  • All – Shows all attributed orders regardless of status.
  • Refunded – Displays only orders that have been partially or fully refunded.


You can also use the Export button to download a CSV report of visible orders.



✅ Tip: Clicking on any Order No. opens the full order details in your Shopify admin, where you can review line items, customer info, shipping, and payment history.
