**SEO Lab – Speed Booster: **

The Speed Booster section in SEO Lab helps you improve your store’s loading speed and overall performance. A faster store provides a better shopping experience, increases conversions, and improves SEO rankings.

This page includes three main areas:

1. Site Speed Up
2. Image Optimization
3. Theme Files Optimization

Inside the SEO Lab app:

SEO Lab ➜ Speed Booster ➜ Site Speed Up

Here, both Instant Page and Lazy Loading settings are available with simple ON/OFF controls.

These two features work together to improve your Shopify store's overall loading performance:

• Instant Page makes navigation faster
• Lazy Loading reduces initial load time

Both are designed to meet modern SEO and user experience standards.

SEO Lab – Speed Booster:

 Image Optimization Guide

The Image Optimization section in SEO Lab helps improve your store’s loading speed by automatically compressing and optimizing your images.

Fast-loading images improve your store’s performance, user experience, and SEO score.

This page allows you to see optimization statistics, enable automatic optimization for different types of images, and review optimization history.

**1. Image Optimization **

a. Images Optimized

Shows the total number of images that the app has optimized so far.

b. Average Saved %

Displays how much image size has been reduced on average.

Example: 30.76% saved means your images became 30% smaller without losing quality.

c. Total Saved Space

Shows how much storage has been saved in MB (megabytes).

This helps you understand how much faster your store has become.

d. Image Quota

Shows how many images have been optimized out of your allowed limit.

Example: 222 / unlimited means you can optimize unlimited images.

2. Automatic Image Optimization (Products, Collections, Blogs)

You will see three blocks with ON/OFF switches:

a. Products (Auto Optimization)

When ON, the app will automatically optimize product images whenever new products are added or images are updated.

The app will:

• Compress product images
• Reduce file size
• Maintain image quality

This helps your product pages load faster.

b. Collections (Auto Optimization)

When ON, SEO Lab will automatically optimize collection images as soon as new collection banners or thumbnails are added.

This improves the loading speed of collection pages.

c. Blogs (Auto Optimization)

When ON, SEO Lab will automatically optimize blog featured images and any images inside your blog posts.

This helps your blog pages load faster and improves SEO performance.

**3. Upload Images to Optimize **

You also have a button called "Upload images to optimize".

This allows you to upload additional images manually if you want them optimized instantly — useful for theme banners, homepage sliders, or custom images.

4. Optimization History

At the bottom of the page, you will see a detailed history of every image optimization the app has done.

It includes:

Tabs

• Products
• Collections
• Blogs
• Others (theme images, banners, backgrounds, etc.)

5. Restore All Images

There is a “Restore All Images” button that lets you undo all image optimizations with one click.

This is helpful if:

• You want to compare results
• You changed your theme and want original images
• You need uncompressed images for design updates
• **You can also restore images manually one by one of each product instead of clicking restore all images button. **

YOU CAN ALSO RESTORE IMAGES FOR YOUR COLLECTIONS AND BLOGS AS WELL.

SEO Lab – Speed Booster: Theme Files Optimization Guide

The Theme Files Optimization section helps improve your store’s speed by optimizing the files inside your Shopify theme. Your theme contains code files (CSS, JS, Liquid, etc.) that control how your store looks and works.

When these files are optimized, your store loads faster and performs better for all customers.

This tab shows your optimization stats, a toggle to enable or disable theme optimization, and an optimization history.

Below the stats, you will see a button to switch ON labeled Theme Files.

What happens when you turn it ON?

When you enable this feature, SEO Lab will automatically:

• Compress your theme files
• Reduce file sizes
• Improve loading time for CSS, JavaScript, and other assets
• Apply performance enhancements to help your theme run smoothly

This is especially useful if your theme has many apps, scripts, or custom code.
