# How to Set Up a Shipping Template in TikTok Shop

**Overview**

Before **TikTok Connector by SPL** can sync your products to TikTok Shop, you need to set up your **warehouse, pickup/return locations, and shipping template** in the TikTok Shop Seller Center. These steps are required whether you choose **Shipped by Seller** or **Shipped by Platform**.

**Step 1: Set Up Your Warehouse & Return Location**

1. Go to **My Account > Account Settings > Warehouse Settings** in ** TikTok Shop Seller Center.**

| Drop shipping? Use your 3PL provider's address.

4. TikTok Shop will automatically generate **warehouse codes** for both locations.

**Step 2: Create a Shipping Template**

3. Fill in the details:
* **Template Name:** Choose a name.
* **Shipping From & To:** Auto-filled with your warehouse details.
* **Excluded Areas:** Select areas where you **don’t** deliver.
* **Delivery Areas & Rates:** Set shipping fees for different regions (must cover **0-30 kg**).
* **New Region:** Group areas into regions with custom rules.
* **Unassigned Areas:** Make sure all areas are assigned to a region.

| Important: Your weight limit must be up to 30 kg, or you won’t be able to save the template.
