# Connecting Your Warehouse Using SPL and TikTok Shop

### Why Warehouses Are Important in the SPL App
To sync inventory and fulfill orders correctly between **Shopify** and **TikTok Shop**, you must connect a **warehouse** using the **SPL app**.
* This warehouse acts as your **inventory origin**.
* TikTok uses it to determine **where products are shipped from** and **how stock is managed**.

| 📌 Even without a physical warehouse, you must create a warehouse (e.g., your home address) in TikTok Seller Center to sync your inventory. Without this, TikTok will not allow you to list products.

### Step 1: Create a Warehouse in TikTok Seller Center
You need to create a **Pickup** warehouse (and optionally a **Return** warehouse) inside your TikTok Shop account.
### 🔹 Steps:
1. **Log in** to your TikTok Seller Center
2. Click your **profile icon** in the top-right corner.
3. Navigate to:** My Account → Account Settings → Warehouse Settings**

4. In **Pickup Warehouse**, click **Add Warehouse**.

5. Fill in the required fields:
* Warehouse Name
* Contact Person
* Phone Number
* Full Address (**P.O. Boxes are not allowed**)

6. Click **Save**.

### 🔁 Optional: Add a Return Warehouse

1. Click **Add Warehouse** under the **Return Warehouse** section.
2. You can either:
* **Select “Same as pickup address”** — you can do this directly by selecting **"Set as return address"** in the Pickup Warehouse setup.

* Enter a **different return address**.

3. Click **Save**

| ✅ Once saved, your warehouses will appear in your TikTok Shop account and can be selected within the SPL app.

### Step 2: Connect the Warehouse in SPL
Once your TikTok warehouse is created, connect it via the SPL app to enable inventory sync.

### 🔹 Steps:
1. Open the **SPL app** from your **Shopify Admin**.
2. Your warehouse mapping option may become available immediately **after connecting your TikTok Shop** in the SPL app.

If it **does not show up automatically**, you can manually add it by following the steps below.

3. In the SPL sidebar, go to:** Settings → Warehouses**

4. SPL will now fetch the list of available warehouses from your TikTok Shop.
5. If no warehouses appear, Click **Add/Manage Warehouse** to create one on TikTok Shop.

6. Choose the Shopify location(s) to sync with this warehouse:
* You can select a **specific location** (e.g., “Main Location”), or
* Choose **All Locations** for simplicity.

| ✅ All Locations is recommended for most sellers.

7. Click **Save**

| Your Shopify inventory will now be synced with your TikTok Shop Warehouse.

### Step 2.1: ⚙️ Enable Auto-Sync (Optional but Recommended)
To keep your TikTok Shop inventory automatically updated whenever changes are made in Shopify:

🔹 **Steps**:
1. In the SPL app, go to:** Settings → Product Settings → Auto‑Sync Settings**
2. Under **Enable Auto-Sync**, toggle on the **Inventory** option

| ✅ This ensures that changes made to product's stock quantity in Shopify are automatically pushed to TikTok Shop.

> 📌 If Auto-Sync is disabled, you will need to manually update product inventory directly in TikTok Shop.

### 📦 How to Set Up a Virtual Warehouse for Print-on-Demand Sellers

If you’re a **Print-on-Demand (POD)** seller (e.g., using Printful, Printify, etc.), and do **not** have a physical warehouse, TikTok still requires you to define a warehouse address. You have two options:

### Option 1: Use Your Print Partner’s Fulfillment Address
If your POD provider allows it, use their primary fulfillment center address.

| ✅ TikTok will use this as the shipment origin, even though the provider handles actual fulfillment.

### Option 2: Use Your Business Address as a Virtual Warehouse
If your POD provider does **not allow** you to use their address:
* Use your **business address**, **home office**, or **mailing location**.

> 📌 This address is only used for system compliance inside TikTok Shop and SPL. It won’t affect actual delivery or tracking, which your POD partner handles.

### Step 3: Confirm Inventory Sync
Once your warehouse is connected:
* SPL will automatically sync inventory from the selected Shopify location(s) to your TikTok warehouse
* You can monitor sync status inside the **Inventory tab** of the SPL app
* Make sure each product in Shopify is assigned to the **correct location** for accurate stock levels on TikTok

> 📌 If you operate from multiple Shopify locations, repeat the connection process to link each one with the appropriate TikTok warehouse.

| Your Shopify store is now ready to sync inventory with TikTok Shop in real time, ensuring smooth operations, accurate stock levels, and proper fulfillment flow.
